The purpose of the 2nd UCC Biomedical and Clinical Student/Resident Research Symposium was to present the research conducted by students from different academic programs to the entire university community. We had the participation of two speakers: Dr. Pierre Côté, Director of the Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research at Ontario Tech University, and Dr. Michelle M. Martínez, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry, at Universidad Central del Caribe. The symposium was offered on April 21, 2022, at Universidad Central del Caribe and was transmitted virtually through Cysco Webex Platform. There were 51 poster presentations by students and residents, and eighty-seven (87) individuals participated this year.
