The purpose of the 4th UCC Biomedical and Clinical Student/Resident Symposium was to present to the entire university community research conducted by students from the different academic programs (Biomedical Sciences, Chiropractic, Medical Imaging, and Medicine).
We had one speaker, Dr. Ivone Bruno, Vice President of Preclinical and Process Development at CytoImmune Therapeutics. Their presentation title was: “The Future of Healthcare: Artificial Intelligence’s Role in Biotech Advancements.” There were 64 poster presentations, and cash prizes were awarded for the three best posters in the following research areas: basic sciences, clinical and translational research, and public health. The symposium was offered on April 10, 2025, at Casa Comerio in Bayamon, PR, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Two hundred and twenty-two (222) individuals participated this year.
